Hello. I'm interested in the Cabalah and have been for a while now. I've read some things on the net about it, but to be honest it's a bit overwhelming. I understand that it can act as a map of consciousness or of life itself. Can anyone recommend sources to get started? Can any one offer antecdotes, descriptions? Thanks. Peace and Love.

If you are looking for Cabalah, I can only recommend:

If you are looking for Qabalah read books by Doreen Valente, Dion Fortune, and Ellen Cannon Reed.
If you are looking for Kabbalah see my first comment. -

Re: Introduction to Cabalah
Fri, February 23, 2007 - 12:34 PM1- Kabbalah: the secret and deeply coded, Jewish teachings passed down from father to son orally for thousands of years.
2- Qabalah: In the early 1900's the oath of secrecy was finally broken. Previously secret knowledge was printed, and taught by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
2- Cabalah: 40 archetypes, taught as techniques, in plain English, based on the original 10 by 4 structure.
There was a time when this knowledge could not be talked about openly. That is no longer the case, but the many orthodox scholars still teach the old ways, as if people need to spend years decoding ancient writings to prove their worthiness.
When I read posts, here in this group, or anywhere, I ask myself, is this person speaking frankly from the heart, or just quoting something they read? Have they offered me something uplifting that I can use today, or are they just directing me to learn some set of cryptic codes so that I may jump through a series meaningless hoops under their direction.
If you ask ask yourself these questions, your path will be much easier.
